Life Lately

 1. I celebrated my 29th birthday in May. I went with a Roaring 20's party since it's my last year in my twenties. Chris built this backdrop for the party. Isn't he the sweetest?!?!?!

 2. We are huge Ranger fans! Wore my jersey out for a drink while watching the game.

3. Chris surprised me with birthday roses. They were all big blooms like this. so so beautiful.

4. My sister's birthday is only 3 days after mine. We went out into downtown Houston and had brunch. My nephew was being the cutest with his grilled cheese.

5. Concert style. We saw Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless last week!

 6. The newest color candy necklace to add to my growing accessory collection.

7. Donuts for breakfast! Is anyone else excited about National Donut Day tomorrow?

8. The beach!!! My absolute favorite place to be and Chris took me for my birthday.

9. I found these holographic booties on Poshmark and couldn't pass up the chance to buy them.

10. My unicorn balloon from my sweet Happy Hello friend Kaylee. I'm in love with it. Have you seen the mail exchange I host on instagram? Definitely check it out.

Life Lately

1. When I met my niece's new pup, I had to take a selfie with him. This kind of cuteness needs to be shared!! Look at those baby blues.

 2. I recently celebrated a friends birthday and gave her this starburst filled pinata. It's so happy, fun, and festive...I love being able to give gifts like that.

3. This is that heart backdrop I talked about that Chris and I did for our Valentines Day dance...it was a big hit at our party.

4. I made this shadow box with flowers from my wedding bouquet. I've been meaning to do it for months and I'm really happy I finally got around to doing it. 

5. These are my current favorite shoes. All I'm waiting for is the weather to warm up again...it's currently freezing...brrr.

6. We celebrated our nieces birthday last week. This was my OMG we are Chuck E. Cheese rich face!

7. Painted this not too long ago because really...ice cream is everything.

8. Is anyone else obsessed with this show? Girls and Pretty Little Liars are my current fav shows.

9. I was suppose to share these chocolates but that didn't really end up happening. lol

10. So this is probably my favorite picture ever! I love Papa Roach and went we went to the show at the end of January, I met Jerry Horton the lead guitarist...he's actually my #1 celebrity crush! Happy girl here.

Life Lately

This is from last weekend when we went to hang out in downtown...kissy pics are kinda my favorite.

 2. I recently joined poshmark and I bought these gorgeous gold shoes about 20 minutes after setting up my profile. I just couldn't help myself...they are sooooooooo cute!

3. Hey Scar, I'm trying to get a cute pic of my flowers! This crazy cat is always photoboming me.

4. While everyone at the beginning of the year was chomping on their salads, me and chris were like, large pepporoni please lol 

5. Over the weekend I got to pull these babies out. It's now currently cold outside...like freezing. I can't wait for spring to hurry up and get here!

 6. Making shopping wish lists come true makes me my heart happy. I had put this super cute bag on my wish list about 2 1/2 months ago...really excited to call it mine now.

7. My niece just turned 11...I can't even believe where the time goes. This was her deliciously good cake we celebrated with.

8. A little sprinkle here, a little sprinkle there is my current situation whenever there is chocolate, ice cream, or cake.

9. I'm still practicing my hand lettering with watercolor...this is the latest.

10. My new phone case! I like it so much that I like to match it and then take selfies lol but I do have to say my old phone cat case will forever be missed...cat lady for life.

Life Lately

1. This was the costume I wore to work. Making this costume was really easy and was able to whip it out in one day. So sad though that I didn't win the cute contest.

2. Picking up pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.

3. Having a little bit of photo fun with some plates I picked up for my cake and craft party.

4. Trying to get Scar to take selfies with me...usually always a fail.

4. I've been wanting to start painting again and finally bought some supplies.

 6. Keeping things bright and happy with some sunflowers.

7. I got to see Papa Roach, one of my favorites for the 5th time.

8. Selecting new nail colors is always such a hard decision...I want them all!

9. Wearing an old favorite dress after work.

10. Our couple costume for Halloween. Chris had came up with the idea of being Ash from Pokemon and thought I would be Misty but Pikachu is so much cuter, so I went with that. Plus then I could say pika pika all night. I loved the way our costumes turned out.

7. We celebrated my nephew's first birthday last week.

8. Me and Chris have been working out a lot lately. Whenever we do workouts at home, Scar is always there to motivate us along the way.

Life Lately

 Had this yummy thing right here in celebration of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day! And because everything is better with sprinkles, you know I added some.

 2. On a girls shopping trip.

3. Pretty things I've been wearing...that perfume is my favorite.

4. I asked Chris for this Naked 2 pallette for Christmas...trying to use it more often.

5. My usual at Starbucks is a unsweetened green tea. I hadn't had a frap in what feels like 2 years and decided to give the green tea one a try...not bad.

 6. Chris bought me these pretty flowers...he's the sweetest.

8. I've been drinking lemon water a lot lately. Snapped this pic because look at how cute Scar looks. He never looks at the camera for me.

Life Lately

1. We are always so busy with family on the weekends, we decided to make Wednesdays date night. Wednesday are now my favorite day of the week!! This was the latest date night outfit.

 2. Shopping...love these shoes

3. Me and my birthday cake! Chris had a blue ombre one made for me by the same lady that did our wedding cake. It was sooooo good.

4. Two of the things that make me incredibly happy...the husband and ice cream :)

Life Lately

Hey everyone :) I'm back and guess what? I'm married!!! After all the months of planning and hard work, it's finally over. I'm so happy. Life has been good. We went to the beach for our honeymoon...it's the only place I can truly relax and we did just that.  It's been two weeks now and we are finally getting back to real life. lol  

 1. Taking mid-day naps. Just being a little lazy like you should be while on vacation.

 2. I took off from work two days before the wedding. This was that Thursday having breakfast with my sis before all the madness began. I would call this, the calm before the storm.

3. Swimming in the pool. We had it all to ourselves. The beach was actually really cold...thankfully the pools were heated.

3. Dinner by the water with my love.

4. Balloons left over from the wedding.

5. Drinks by the beach :)

6. Picking up our rings a few days before the wedding.

7. His grooms cake...it was delicious! We took the whole poke ball to the honeymoon.

8. A little bit of pieces from the wedding. Our colors were pink, mint, and gold.

Life Lately

1. Chris surprised me with floor seats to see Justin, my favorite ever! I had an amazing time dancing and singing the night away. 

 2. This pic of my grandparents was on the fridge throughout the holidays. It's been years since my grandpa passed and every time I look at this pic it makes me incredibly happy. 

3. Eating Mexican with my love.

4. The newest addition to my family. I'm a great aunt!

5. The floral section is always my first stop when I go grocery shopping.

Life Lately: Arlington Trip

Last year Chris and I went to our first Texas Rangers game together. I've always been the cheerleader kind of girl when it comes to sports and was really excited when Chris asked if I wanted to go to Arlington again this year. Last year it rained the entire time. This year we had better luck and just had a a few sprinkles here and there but nothing to complain about. Our whole trip was based around the games so other than cheer on our favorite team, we just enjoyed being together, relaxed a lot, and ate really good food. An amazing trip if you ask me.

1. Winners!!! 

2. Our first game for the weekend, we bought all you can eat tickets. This was my first round...that I ate all by myself...and then Chris and I shared nachos :)

3. In our Ranger gear...naturally I had to get the hat with silver sequins.

4. Rangers out on the field...this was our view from the second game.

5. Poolside view at the hotel.

6. Chris took me shopping. My guy sure does know how to keep a girl happy. I took this dress home with me.

8. Saturday's game was suppose to be at night but at the last minute was moved to the day. A few cold ones were necessary to keep cool in the heat.

9. Fireworks after Friday nights game. I know you can't really see him, but that's my favorite player (Ian Kinsler) up on the screen there.

10. Drinks to celebrate another win and the end of another great day.

Life Lately

 1. Wearing my all time favorite dress to TxSc Prom. I had so much dancing the night away with new friends.

 2. Shopping in a casual outfit...classic white tee and jeans combo.

3. I had a short week at work where Thursday was pretty much my Friday...that's calls for the type of celebration that includes chocolate icing and sprinkles.

3. Photobooth pics!! These were taken after a night of drinking and dancing...shortly after these photos, stops to 4 different food trucks happened. 

5. Ok, so I met Elsie and Emma of A Beautiful Mess...can you say blogger dream come true. These girls are the sweetest and I got to have a fun conversation with them. 

6. This kitten is totally stealing the spotlight...I don't mind. Look at those beautiful baby blues.

7. While in Austin the one thing on the top of my list was finding Hey Cupcake. These were beyond delicious.

8. I saw Hollywood Undead for the 2nd time this year. Being able to see them perform a full show was amazing! 

9. Playing with prints and textures...sequins, floral lace, and stripe shorts = a fun outfit.

10. One of my favorite moments while in Austin. Me and Chris snuck up to the top floor to take in the city view after a memorable night.
